I am always on the look out for Kid's Games. I love to find things that my 5 year old can do by himself. Computer Games that are safe, friendly, colorful, and creative can be a challenge to find. Even more so to find a game that I can enjoy playing with him! Lego Fever took me by surprise. It reminds me of a DOS game at first glance, and it is a very simple game concept, but my boys were fascinated by it.

They were drawn in when I started it up, and didn't leave until I turned it off... that doesn't happen all that often around here. The simple puzzles get more challenging as it goes along, giving the brain a good exercise. And the friendly Lego block knights, horses, etc. liven up the imagination.
It is not often that I find a game that I feel good about leaving my boys alone with.

This kid's game is a definite keeper.

Polly Pride: PD

Polly Pride: Pet Detective
Polly Pride: Pet Detective is on the prowl! With a new mysterious cosmetic factory opening in town, Polly the Pet Detective is on the ready when the town`s pets go missing. Everyone assumes the worst and it`s Polly`s job to right the wrongs and get the pets back to their frantic owners. You never know where one of the 90 missing pets may have found a new home!

* Beautiful illustrations.
* Unique item locations.
* Help find lost pets!

We were having a lot of fun with this game!This pictures are well drawn, both of people and their pets. It has a really cute story line going so far... Polly meets the new veterinarian down the street, she has a great best friend to add comedy to the story.

In between levels of finding Hidden Objects there are mini games related to the shelter... looking through the cages to see if we have already collected any of the missing animals (memory type game), reassemble the flyer put through the shredder (puzzle)...

And I absolutely love the premise of this game... pets gone missing after the make-up factory moves into town! Go P.E.T.A.!I am so glad to see information about how unethically we treat animals showing up in every day places! I wonder if there is a PC game about factory farming?!
