Farm Frenzy 2 is a fantastic time management sequel where you get to take care of your chickens, pigs, and cows. Collect their products and run the production buildings to make more expensive products to take to town to sell. Order goods from the city which will be delivered by air drop. Defend you farm from bears, which will toss your animals. Buy dogs to help keep the bears at bay, and cats to help collect your products. Plenty of levels, new awards, times to beat!

YEAH! There was jumping and yelling when we saw Farm Frenzy 2 for today's game! We loved Farm Frenzy, and finished it long ago... but it never lost it's playability... we were going for gold on every level!


Farm Frenzy 2 brings back the same great game type, with even better graphics, and cool new sounds! I will warn you that the chickens are plump, and the cats are skinny (like an outside cat usually is)! You will love the change in bears! You still get the shadow on the ground as they fall from the sky, but now you get a growl that grows louder as they get closer. What really got us was that the bears are now panda bears! They are so cute, we almost didn't want to catch them...right up until they started tossing our chickens! Then we were over it! Farm Frenzy 2 is a fantastic game for the entire family! Although it doesn't have a specific Kid's Mode, it is easy enough for my 5 yr old to play by himself...at least the beginning levels! It's well worth the price,

In case you were wondering, Frenetic means frantic or frenzied. Great word to describe this game!

Treasure Masters starts you off finding objects to claim the treasure hunting business that your grandfather left you. Treasure Masters offered a challenge. I am so glad that the hidden object games coming out recently are so much more challenging. The kids were all getting tired of them being so easy. This one had everyone peering over my shoulder pointing out objects. Treasure Masters has a good storyline also. We enjoyed learning more about the story as it unfolded slowly as we played. I haven't enjoyed a hidden object game as much as Treasure Masters in quite a while.

Build garages to have extra build and repair vehicles available, build a store to purchase furniture for your rental houses, build a bank to automatically collect rent for you... see how strong of a town you can build!

Jane's Realty reminds me of the popular Build-a-lot games, but brings the flavor of Jane's Hotel with it. The directions were a bit confusing if you are depending on the in game tutorials. The best bet is to read through the pages of the Help button for each section you are in. I had to redo a couple of levels because the tutorials didn't tell me to ply my tenants with gifts so they would request the required upgrade. Just a bit frustrating. Overall, I would recommend Build-a-lot or Build-a-lot 2: Town of the Year over Jane's Realty, unless you are a big Jane fan. The boys did not even look twice at Jane's Realty, and my teenager gave it a quick glance and walked away.

In Righteous Kill you portray a detective tracking down clues to catch a vigilante killer. As you gather clues, find the fingerprints, put together torn papers, and other mini games in your quest to build a solid case. At various points you are treated to clips from the upcoming film of the same title starring Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino. The film is scheduled for release on September 12th.

I was immediately turned off by the name of this game...Righteous Kill. I decided to try it anyways. I was pleasantly surprised. It turns out to be a quite good hidden object game. I had expected there to be a certain amount of gore with a title like Righteous Kill, but there was none. Instead I was cast into the role of a detective, searching for clues, gathering evidence, and building a strong case against a vigilante killer. Since Righteous Kill is the name of a new Pacino and DeNiro film coming out in a few weeks, and the game is based on that film, I will let the name slide and say that I enjoyed this game. I am not sure that you would take the younger children to see the film, and I would say the same for the game. Let's keep this one for teenagers and up.

Restoring Rhonda is a match three game that allows you to choose from two modes of play. Choose the normal swap adjacent tiles, or choose free swap to clear the board. Match special tool pieces to earn the use of these special bonuses on the board. Work to earn enough money to unlock bonus Quick Plays in the menu. Clear each board to receive a tool to use to fix the next step of the painting that you are working on. Earn money by working quickly to restore paintings for your clients.

Restoring Rhonda was not a huge hit in my house. The idea of free swap was almost more confusing than regular play. The restoration parts of the game were the same types of things I was complaining about in those cooking games! Grab the object with the tweezers and pull, wipe the painting with the cloth, etc, had my thumb moving the trackball as fast as my thumb would go! For some fantastic match three games try Fishdom or Ancient Quest of Saqqarah.

At least Road to Riches is only local driving! No one was interested in this game, but I think that had more to do with the fact that Dad is a truck driver, and we get enough of it!

Enchanted Fairy Friends: Secret of the Fairy Queen was an event that even the boys gathered close for. They loved the fact that the shadow of the objects were provided rather than a list of words, making it something that even the pre-readers can have fun with. The illustrations were beautiful, and the objects are so well integrated that we found the medium level to be unexpectedly challenging! We had a great time putting the puzzles together, and the spotting of differences is always a highly coveted puzzle in my house! After we figured out how to arrange things in order, we had a fantastic time with that also. We did find the music to get annoying after a while, but that's why speakers have a volume switch! Overall, Enchanted Fairy Friends: Secret of the Fairy Queen was a very enjoyable game, that I could see having a very long playability in my house.

Find the newspaper in the kitchen of your apartment to get started in Time Stand Still. From there you can start poking around, finding inventory items, and gathering information. Make sure you check everything, and keep your magnifying glass handy.

I was very frustrated when I started Time Stand Still! I didn't know to find the newspaper, and wandered aimlessly for quite a while trying to get used to the movements which are not as smooth as other Large Adventure file games I have played. I couldn't find the Read Me text in the file that was supposed to give more detailed instructions, and I have never bought a Strategy Guide in my life! For this game, I just might have to, just to figure out what to do next! I am not finding the game very intuitive, as it says it is, and I am again stuck wondering what the next step should be. I did take a quick peak into the Time Stand Still Strategy Guide, and found it to be quite clear and informative. The kids had no interest in Time Stand Still at all.

Cy-Clone was not a huge hit in my house. Of course, my one child who enjoys shooters was not present while this game was running! I am not much of one for shooter games, and I found the graphics to be confusing, and wasn't quite sure how to read the screen to see how many lives I had left, or if it told you how many enemies there were or where they were.

This is a great educational computer game for kids to get the brain fired up, and work on spelling while having fun! Fussy Freddy drew in all the kids. Even the youngest was finding words in the floating letters. I like the way it progresses slowly in difficulty, and gives excellent examples of what you are trying to do. Very well thought out, and simple interface for the kids. My one complaint was the difficulty in switching activities. Everything runs through the main menu, and you need to push the start button on the game to get to it.

Rooms: The Main Building is a game of sliding pieces into the right place to reach the exit in the time given. Solve each level using the items given, and collect items along your way. Rooms: The Main Building is the most unique game I have seen in quite a while. I do not personally have an affinity for sliding puzzles, and did not enjoy Rooms: The Main Building. It's dark pictures, while having an antique feeling, was unattractive to the children. If you are a sliding puzzle fan, this is a fantastic game full of wonderful challenges and surprises.

Yard Sale Hidden Treasures: Sunnyville was full of amusing yard sales to explore, and colorful neighbors to meet. We did not enjoy the refurbishing sections of play as much as they require quite a bit of cutting with the mouse, and trackballs do not work great for that! That and the grammar of plurals in the lists were are biggest complaints, and we had a lot of fun sitting down to this game together.

I had fun playing Jewel Match 2. Building the castles wasn't that spectacular, but the match 3 was captivating. The kids had fun with this match three download game. it was simple enough for the boys, but still enough fun for my daughter to enjoy too. Although this match three game was nice, it doesn't quite make it on to our list of favorites. Our recommendations for Match 3 games in Big Fish Games stock would include: Fishdom, Yumsters! 2, Space Journey, Ancient Quest of Saqqarah, and Puzzle Quest. It's all about the angles! Fairy Jewels 2 briefly attracted the boys, but after watching and asking a few questions, they were off to play other things. I enjoyed needing to figure out the angles to reach some of the stones and fairies. This is a pretty good marble popper, and within the first several levels you start coming across challenges requiring the use of bouncing the shots off the walls and getting the right angles going. That puts this one into an educational pick for math skills!
