Echoes of the Past: Royal House of Stone

Echoes of the Past: Royal House of Stone

Echoes of the Past: Royal House of Stone  You find yourself in the medieval kingdom of Orion having made a journey through time. It's up to you to save the kingdom and its' inhabitants and reveal an ancient curse. Explore every room of the castle, opening weird locks and meeting the castle's inhabitants.

Echoes of the Past: Royal House of Stone
You are enjoying a tour of the castle as your adventure starts in Echoes of the Past: Royal House of Stone. You find yourself suddenly transported.. you seem to be in the same room, but it is dark and the only other person you see is a retreating figure who drops a glowing book. You pick up the book in the hopes that you will make sense of why you have been transported to the past. Will you be able to solve the mystery of the royal family in this Hidden Object Adventure game?

Echoes of the Past: Royal House of Stone is the first game in a long time that I really did not enjoy. Maybe it is just my cold addling my brain, but the game did not progress well and the hints made no sense. It was fairly dark, and did not attract the boys at all. Echoes of the Past: Royal House of Stone is a Hidden Object Adventure style of game, but I do not recommend it as a family game, or a game for children.

World of Zellians
World of Zellians places you in the middle kingdom to start your journey as a student learning the art of building productive cities. Journey through nine kingdoms, rebuilding cities and uniting kingdoms. Construct your towns to serve the needs of the citizens and the kingdom. Learn what production buildings the stores need to run. The boys and I were thrilled with World of Zellians. The characters were creative and friendly, and the world was cheery and colorful. The dialogs led us through an entertaining storyline. World of Zellians is a game that the boys were begging me to buy because we had so much fun with it. I can't wait to get to the free play option to see just what we can design in the kingdoms on our own! A great strategy game for the whole family to spend time with!

Murder, She Wrote

Murder, She Wrote

Murder, She Wrote  Jessica Fletcher has stepped off of your television screen and onto your computer monitor. Murder is afoot, and it is up to you to find and piece together the clues as you journey through town with Jessica. Explore crime scenes, solving multiple puzzles, and searching for hidden items as you search for the identity to the true culprit in Murder, She Wrote... Are you up to cracking the case?

Murder, She Wrote
There are several cases to be worked through once you open up Murder, She Wrote. Search for Jessica's missing vowel typewriter keys in each scene to replace the letters of the hidden items list. Find the items on the list, using them as necessary to complete tasks and find hidden items. Move through multiple scenes as the mystery unfolds, finding clues in each scene. Find the typewriter ribbon hidden in each scene to instantly refresh the hint.

I was pleased to have beta tested Murder, She Wrote before it was released. It is one of the best games I have beta tested in quite a while. The music was instantly recognizeable, as were the characters. I loved the typewriter keys being hidden in the scenes. Reading the lists with missing letters was a lot like playing hangman! None of the scenes were too difficult making Murder, She Wrote a game that even children will enjoy working through the mysteries of. Over all, I think this is a wonderful Hidden Object game for the whole family!

Zombie Bowl-O-Rama

Zombie Bowl-O-Rama

The zombies invaded your town and taken over the bowling alley in Zombie Bowl-O-Rama. Collect your favorite ball, gather up some treats, and bowl those zombies over and back into the graveyard ground. It's up to you to challenge the zombies and strike at them with your bowling skills, and maybe a few tricks, in Zombie Bowl-O-Rama!

Zombie Bowl-O-Rama
Challenge the zombies to a game or two of bowling in Zombie Bowl-O-Rama. As you bowl over the zombies, collect tricks and treats that appear on the lane. Use them to improve your game, or hinder your opponent's as you bowl through the frames. Play through the town as you bowl the zombies back to the graveyard. Tired of zombies? Challenge a friend to a game, or play against the computer. Once you have driven the zombies back into the hole they crawled out of, come back for free play anytime.

My boys and I were thrilled with Zombie Bowl-O-Rama. The zombies were wonderfully colorful characters, and we enjoyed the antics of the tricks and treats. I was thrilled that the zombies minded their manners unlike the verbally offensive Elves. This game may seem to have a bit of a Halloween flavor to it, but I believe it will be one that we enjoy year round. I have to give Zombie Bowl-O-Rama bonus points simply for having a two player mode, but I love that you can set it for sets of tricks and treats, random, or none at all.
