I loved the graphics of Gemini Lost! The friendly faces brought everyone over to see the game. Although there are a lot of strategy games involving caring for and improving your village that have come into our house lately, this game had everyone excited to start their own village. Gemini Lost is a simple game with helpful hints on what to do next, making it fun for the younger crowd too. We are giving this game our approval and recommending it as a nice strategy game for the whole family!

The music of Treasures of the Serengeti brought everyone to the game to see what it was. The boys had a great time listening to the various instruments we collected, and moving with the beat! The combination of jigsaw puzzle pieces and match three brought a new dimension to this game that made it challenging and fun. Treasures of the Serengeti brought a fabulous bouncy soundtrack to our house, and we loved the interactive instrument feature that let us learn about some new instruments. We are giving this game a definite thumbs up!

My teenage daughter and I enjoyed playing Haunted Manor: Lord of Mirrors together, but the boys were not interested in it. The story line was neat, and a pattern of actions for each room was quickly established. The scenes were dark, but not frightening. Haunted Manor: Lord of Mirrors should provide plenty of hours of intriguing play!

Mind's Eye: Secrets of the Forgotten has a suspenseful storyline, but is not graphically disturbing. It is a fantastic hidden object mystery to solve.. when the lights are on!

 Chicken Invaders 3: Revenge of the Yolk Easter Edition adds Easter baskets, and spring colors to the decor, but brings back the familiar play of Chicken Invaders 3. The boys are  thrilled to see the return of Chicken Invaders, as it has been one of our favorite games for the last few years. My daughter and I were a bit disappointed to see that it is the same game, dressed up with an Easter theme. We keep hoping that the multi player function of Chicken Invaders 2 will be brought back. If you are looking for a way to keep even your gaming in the colorful Easter spirit, Chicken Invaders 3: Revenge of the Yolk Easter Edition is a perfect fit. If you are just tired of those colorful peeps, and looking to take out some frustration, this fits the bill quite well!

I love finding hidden object games that are not dark and dreary and The Mystery of the Crystal Portal: Beyond the Horizon delivers exactly that. The gorgeous scenes drew the boys to the computer to look for the multitude of hidden objects. This is one of those hidden object games where you have to find several items to pick up the one. We also enjoyed the items that needed to be put back together in order to collect them. We would definitely recommend The Mystery of the Crystal Portal: Beyond the Horizon for a challenging and fun hidden object game. See how the story started with The Mystery of the Crystal Portal.

The scenes of Little Folk of Faery were a bit dark, but mostly in the way of the areas being run down and needing to be fixed up. In this strategy game, you will need to practice patience as the characters learn new things, and work on the assigned quests. The game will continue to run even when shut down if you set it to. You can change the game speed as well. The boys were not as interested in this particular game. I found the game play to be very slow, but I can see the long term potential of enjoyment. If you like the idea of building a tribe, or restoring a village, and have a love of faery creatures, Little Folk of Faery is a perfect game.

The scenes of Island: The Lost Medallion were well done. I loved the way the water moved in wanes in the static pictures. The boys were not interested in this hidden object game, so I was left to find all the objects myself this time! Island: The Lost Medallion sets up the storyline with one hidden object scene after another, leading you easily through the story.

Although the scenes were fairly dark on my computer monitor, the music was hauntingly enticing, the boys were extremely interested in both the game play and the story line. I was quite enchanted with the game myself.Dark Parables: Curse of Briar Rose is wonderfully interactive with clues of where to search, and a recharging hint to move through the levels. The scenes depicted within the game play offer small details that really bring the story to life and engage you in it. I highly recommend this hidden object adventure game as an enthralling way to escape from everyday life.

  Alice in Wonderland brought the boys to the computer to help look for the hidden objects and solve the puzzles, but did not hold their interest for long as the scenes were imaginatively frightening and the music was a bit creepy. Personally, I found myself commenting that this is the stuff of my nightmares, but Modern Gothic is not to my tastes. If you enjoy this style, then check out Alice in Wonderland for a wonderful hidden object adventure full of creative and imaginative style.
