THEY ARE BACK!
Once again you are being called upon to save the world from Intergalactic chickens. This time the have hidden away behind our sun while the build the "Yolk-Star". Luckily we spotted it before its completion, but... I love the opening scenes to these games! This one has improved upon the scenes between levels.
The chickens have improved their formations adding some dance moves to the mix, there are new weapons, more complex chicken movements, multiple alien ships, more intense "bosses" to defeat! In this episode, you can input your character name, and come back to your game. You can continue from the beginning of the level you were defeated on upon return. You can gather food for missiles, and see the counter going up as you eat the familiar drumsticks and whole chickens, and the new chicken burgers!
In the Christmas Edition you get to blow chickens to smithereens, dodge snowball asteroids, shoot down multiple alien spacecrafts, and blast your way through Christmas present asteroids all set to Christmas music playing in the background!
This is a definite winner in our house. In fact it is the game that my youngest just picked for his birthday! He picked the Christmas Edition over the regular Chicken Invaders 3... said he liked the music, snowballs, and presents!
Only drawback is that Chicken Invaders 3 is a single player game. So this one isn't going to replace Chicken Invaders 2... my kids and I still like to play games together, even on the computer!
