Jabber is a game of finding words. Create words to collect letters from the puzzle to reassemble the story. After each level you have the option to read the newly assemble chapter, or continue on. Use the flowered letters for bonuses, and make sure you use the iced letters before they reach the bottom, or it is game over. Check your flowers in you window box to see just how far you have until the end of the level. Choose from story mode, or select action mode to play a continuous level of word finding!
Jabber will have you dropping words and pulling letters. You can see the score for each word as you build it. And the size if the dots on the tiles give you a clue as to how many points they are worth. It was neat to be able to read a short chapter on no more than two pages in between levels. There is a three round memory mini game every few levels also.
The boys were not too interested in Jabber . And it was not too fondly looked upon by my daughter either. Overall, it makes a really cute word game. And it was easy to just fall into a mindless routine of finding words. Without a time limit, and no limit on how many three letter words you can submit, it would be a great word game for younger kids to play without getting frustrated by it. Jabber gets high marks as an educational pick, and a great game if you love to play with words and letters!
