Romopolis reminded me a lot of Build-a-lot, but done with structures and sounds associated with ancient Rome. The boys came to see the game, but were not drawn to play Romopolis. I think it reminded them of a simple Pharaoh, Cleopatra, and Ceasar III
, which they enjoy playing several times a year. We love these games for the way they make you plan for what you will need, and allow you to make mistakes to learn from!
