Swarm Gold puts you into cold, dark outer space battling your enemies for precious minerals. You are dropped off by portal. Collect minerals, upgrade your weapons, and defend yourself from your enemies while you wait for the retrieval portal to open! Swarm Gold will have you blasting away to your heart's content.
Swarm Gold gives the ability for several players to keep their scores on this outer space shooting game. Swarm Gold allows you to choose your level of difficulty. Choose from Normal, Hard, Insane... and my favorite choice... Kid's! Your ship will be safe no matter what kind of trouble you find yourself in!
My older son was drooling over Swarm Gold, but he's the only person in the house that truly likes shooter games. The opinion of the rest of the household is that this is a dark, mindless shooting game. It is full of the noise of guns, and mines. While some of the weapon upgrades were really neat looking, it is not a game that we would play. Now, from my the perspective of my older son, Swarm Gold is "the spaciest, alien shooting, coolest, portal opening, asteroid blasting game." He said brimming with enthusiasm, and ending by giving it two thumbs up!
