3 Cards to Midnight

3 Days: Zoo Mystery

3 Cards to Midnight

You wake up in a strange room with weeks of missing memories in 3 Cards to Midnight. As Jess, you work with the stranger who is using tarot cards to access your forgotten memories of the last few weeks. Jess' parents went missing, and it is your search to find them that you have blocked. Use 3 Cards to Midnight to trigger the memories, find the hidden objects, and solve the puzzle that has become your life.

Revealing three tarot cards at a time, use them to  trigger memories of locations and keywords. Find the hidden objects that are based on the keywords at each location. 3 Cards to Midnight is full of clever hidden object play, and challenging puzzles to riddle out.  Hints are given to you at each location, as well as the ability to earn more. Puzzles can be solved or skipped. You can choose to play at three different levels of difficulties to suit your personal style, or replay with more of a challenge!

3 Cards to Midnight has a clever storyline, and a wonderful twist on finding hidden objects. you need to find objects that go with the keyword(s). The boys were fascinated by the cut scenes, but we all agreed the poor character looked like she was on drugs, and the story was scary. The levels were well done and friendly enough. I liked the ability to skip the puzzles. Although they were4e fun, it can be frustrating to get stuck, and being able to skip through it can be a benefit. We would not label 3 Cards to Midnight as a family game, it was definitely for older audiences.
