Bloom Busters is simple game of smacking the monsters to kill them and keep them away from the growing produce, flowers, or animals. Each level has you doing a different chore. You spend time growing apples, leading sheep from on pen to another, growing cabbages, feeding pigs, and defending flower blooms. You can choose from two characters, and your difficulty level at the beginning of play. Bloom Busters does have the ability to add a second player to any level during play, but the second player can only defend from monsters, and is not able to help achieve the goal.
Calling Bloom Busters a simple game was the highlight to it. The instructions are not always clear, as it pops a balloon over the action instead of freezing the action. Other times, we did not see the goal to the level and just spent time trying to figure out what we were supposed to do. We always love finding two player games, but Bloom Busters is not making it to our list even having a second player add in available.
