Apple Pie was a fairly standard match 3 game. Earn money for your matches to make upgrades to your restaurant and recipes, which allows you to make more money with your matches. Along the way, there are slider mini puzzles with beautiful pictures of the postcards from your aunt. You also can earn money by correcting the order of the recipes as you buy the pieces to them. On te back of the postcards from your aunt are real life recipes that you can take and use in the kitchen.
Apple Pie nothing special suring game play, although I did enjoy the slider puzzle post cards. The only thing was that they showed up in the middle of a times board, and I would forget that I was in the middle of something else. The recipes looked really delicious too! I was even thinking that i could modify them to be vegetarian, and suite my kids' tastes also! While this was not my favorite recent release of match 3 games, it is a nice game that is worth looking into.
