In Tri-Peaks 2: Quest for the Ruby Ring you are removing cards from the board that are one up or down from the card in play. When there are no more moves on the board, you may flip the next one from the draw pile. Try to get all the cards removed from the board to progress on your quest. Pick up bonuses and gold along the way, and find pieces for the museum exhibit also. Every so often your partner is caught in a trap and you have 2 minutes to clear 5 peaks to rescue her.
I had a handful of fun with Tri-Peaks 2: Quest for the Ruby Ring. It was your standard next card removal process, although the formation of the peaks was varied. It was amusing to watch the gold falling from the Gods hands in India as you cleared the peaks, and to watch the adventurer progress along the path at the top of the screen. Personally, I enjoyed writing this review more than playing this game. It was just too simplistic for me, but it might hold an attraction for a younger crowd. The standard one number up or down pattern is a great pre math skill, which card games are always good for!
