The Lost Treasures of Alexandria is colorful match 3 game. Travel through different parts of the world unlocking secret chambers to find hidden spheres. This is a unique match three game as it starts out as a simple swap, and within a couple of levels turns into a spin four to match three game and stays in that format. There are several modes that you can choose to play in: Adventure, Puzzle, and Arcade. As you complete locations in the Adventure mode, you unlock new levels in the Puzzle and Arcade modes.
The Lost Treasures of Alexandria was challenging because of the spin four movements. You get a limited number of free moves, but if you spin the wrong way by accident, the game uses it as one of your free moves, and it can be a bit frustrating. You do earn power up element spells as you go, but I kept forgeting to use them. This spin four type of match three will probably never make it to favorites in my house...but in a quieter house I could see this being quite fun.
